With RSA fast approaching, I wanted to share some exciting Skyhigh product developments that we’ll be featuring at the conference. This week, Skyhigh announced its Security Intelligence Platform for Sanctioned Cloud Services. The new offering delivers a single security, compliance, and governance platform for IT and security teams across all sanctioned cloud services such as Salesforce, Box, Microsoft Office 365, ServiceNow, Jive, Google for Work, and Dropbox for Work.
Why is this important?
The Skyhigh Security Intelligence Platform for Shadow Cloud Services has helped hundreds of enterprises protect corporate data exfiltration from on-premise applications by detecting anomalous behavior indicative of security breaches or insider threats in unsanctioned, or “shadow” cloud services.
Skyhigh is now extending its Security Intelligence Platform to Sanctioned Cloud Services, thereby protecting corporate data in cloud systems of record (e.g. Salesforce, Box, Office 365, ServiceNow, etc.) from compromised accounts and insider threats.
David Levin, Director of Information Security at Western Union, reinforced the value of Skyhigh’s Security Intelligence in real-world security environments, saying, “With Skyhigh’s security intelligence capabilities, we can now monitor all activity in our sanctioned cloud services, gain actionable insights into anomalous or high-risk behavior, and take corrective action to prevent data leakage, all from a single integrated platform.”
